i just finished my project of a 2000 sportster 1200 sport it has a Texas Longhorn theme and im pretty proud of it i did all the work my self
it is a stock motor and tranny and rims the exhaust is 2 1/2 inch exhaust tips from autozone with size down connectors to make open pipes but i have torque cones in the tops of the pipes to keep the valves from burning, the seat is a 13 inch spring seat solid mounted, i chunked the back shocks in favor of some 1/2 by 1 inch steel struts that were free from a local steel shop, the combo tail light and license was free from a friend i stripped all the chrome and polished it, the paint was done by me with good ol Krylon and the graphics were from a local shop and then clear coated all to make smooth a cover for the seat frame was made out of thin alum. to cover the electrics and make more smooth
